ADMIN: Using Design Manager to Create Smart Templates

🏗️ Creating Smart Templates with Dynamic Fields

Overview: Learn how to build master templates that automatically pull in agent and property data, while using "Locks" to ensure your brand style remains consistent and professional.

📋 Step 1: Start Your Template

  1. Navigate to the Design Studio and Click Admin Management.

  2. Click on 📄 Templates.

  3. Click the Create Template button to open the editor and begin your design.

🖼️ Step 2: Set Up Dynamic Images

To ensure images (like headshots or house photos) update automatically for your agents:

  1. Insert an Image: Place your image placeholder on the canvas.

  2. Open Settings: Click on ⚙️ Layer Settings.

  3. Choose the Data Source: Select the specific field you want to pull.

    • Listing Image: Automatically pulls photos from the listing the agent selects.

    • Profile Image: Automatically pulls the agent's own profile picture.

  4. Set Constraints: Use the Dynamic Lock toggles to decide what the agent can't change. To prevent an agent from moving or resizing the image, simply toggle that setting off.

✍️ Step 3: Set Up Dynamic Text

This allows text boxes to fill themselves with names, prices, or descriptions.

  1. Insert Text: Add a text box to your template and click ⚙️ Layer Settings.

  2. Style the Text: Choose your Font Color (Current or Brand Color) and select your preferred Text Format.

  3. Set Limits: Enter a Max Text Count to ensure the text doesn't overflow or break the design layout.

  4. Link the Data: In the Text Template section, click Customize Data. Scroll through the list to select which Listing Info or User Data should appear in this box.

  5. Lock for Consistency: Use the Dynamic Lock toggles to restrict the agent from changing the font, size, or position.

💾 Step 4: Save and Publish

  1. Name Your Work: Give your template a clear name at the top center of the page.

  2. Click Save: * Choose Draft if you are still working on it.

    • Choose Active to make it available for your agents to use immediately.

  3. Categorize: Select the relevant Category (e.g., "Just Listed" or "Social Media") so agents can find it easily.
