Whether you want to permanently remove a video or just hide it from the public eye, you can manage your content directly from YouTube Studio.
Warning: Deleting a video is permanent. Once removed, it cannot be recovered via YouTube.
Access Studio: Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select YouTube Studio ⚙️.
Navigate to Content: From the left-hand menu, select Content 📂.
Choose Your Video: Hover over the video you wish to remove and click the three dots (Options) icon ⋮.
Delete: Select Delete forever 🗑️.
Confirm: Check the box acknowledging that deletion is permanent, then click Delete Forever.
Pro-Tip: If you need to delete multiple videos at once, check the boxes to the left of the video thumbnails, click More actions in the top bar, and select Delete forever.
If you want to keep the video but don't want it appearing in searches or on your channel page, use the Unlisted setting. This allows only people with the direct link to view it.
Check Visibility: Find your video and look at the Visibility column 👁️.
Change Status: Click the current visibility status (e.g., Public or Private).
Select Unlisted: Choose Unlisted from the dropdown menu.
Save: Click Save at the bottom of the pop-up ✅.
