Delete Or Unlist A Youtube Video From Your Channel

Delete/Remove Video From Your Channel

You can easily remove/delete a video that you’ve previously uploaded to your Youtube channel. Just follow the steps below:
  1. Log into your Youtube account. You should see a “Sign In” at the top of your screen if you are not logged in yet
  2. Select “Your Channel” in the drop-down menu to your top-right
  3. On your channel page, click the “Manage Videos” button near the top of the page
  4. You will see all of the videos you have uploaded to your channel here
  5. Find the video you want to delete. You will then see three dots next to that video, select the three dots
  6. You will see an Options menu. Click on Delete Forever 
  7. A pop-up message will ask you to confirm you want to delete this video. Check the “I understand” box and click Delete Forever
Your video will then be deleted from your channel! 


Unlist Video From Your Channel

If you do not want to fully delete or remove the video from your channel, you also have the option to “Unlist” your video. By unlisting your video, this removes your video from appearing in any search results or on your channel. Essentially, an unlisted video can only be seen by someone who already has the video link. Follow these steps to unlist your video from your channel:
  1. Go to your Video Manager. This the same “Manage Videos" section from above
  2. Find the video you want to unlist from your page
  3. There is a Visibility section; hover over that section
  4. Click on it and select “Unlisted” for your visibility 
  5. Hit Save to ensure your changes are saved
That’s it! Your video will now be unlisted from your channel and cannot be found if searched on youtube. Keep in mind that you can still grab the video link and share that out.
