How Seller Leads Are Captured
Generally speaking, the most common way that our system generates seller leads is using our Home Valuation Landing Page. This is a tool provided to you from the Bronze package and above that you can advertise in order to get seller leads. Currently, our Gold package is the only package that automatically creates and advertises them throughout the month and automatically generates you seller leads without you having to move a finger.
The way the Home Valuation Landing Page works is through a simple form. When people click on the advertisements that you create using it, or the advertisements that we make using it, they have the ability to fill out the address of the property that they are interested in getting an evaluation from, their name, email, phone number, and level of interest. If you want you can even test the form yourself by clicking on the Home Value button on the far left of the website. From there you can click on the actions button under any of the Home Value pages and visit the website to fill the form out.
Keep in mind that if you get a seller lead and it doesn't contain all of the information, most likely they left the form early. When people leave the form we still want to provide you with the information that we captured since you can potentially still get a deal out of them. They won't get any valuations unless they completely fill out the form. More on that below.
How to Approach These Buyer Leads
Depending on what contact info the lead provides, you can either call, text, or email about properties that fit the buyer's wants. If the lead is unsure how you got their contact info, you can remind them that they filled out a form online requesting information about local listings with their preferred features.
If you got a partial lead that only provided their address, or their address name and email, generally what we recommend is adding them to a drip campaign, sending them postcards, or sending them an email. If someone started filling out a form to get a home value and left the form early they are clearly interested in getting one. If you have a partial lead, now is the time to send them communications to help them get a valuation.
