How to Edit and Delete Content from your Content Calendar

How to Edit and Delete Content from your Content Calendar

Editing or deleting your post that has not gone out to your social media yet, is very simple.

On your Home dashboard, under Upcoming Content, select the post you want to edit/delete.

Click Preview. You will now be able to see the options to either Edit or Delete your post.

OR

On your Content Calendar, find the post you want to edit/delete, and click on the post itself.
A preview will appear and you will see the options to Edit or Delete in the bottom right-hand corner of the preview.

Editing Content

Once you click on the edit button, you will see a section appear to the right-hand side which allows you to make changes to the text of the post and change the image.
You'll have different editing options based on the type of post it is.
After you are done editing it, you'll confirm the time you want the post to go out at.
You can adjust the date and time if you would prefer that piece of content to go out on a different date.
Select Let’s Schedule to apply your new changes.
Keep in mind that you don't need to make changes to a section unless you want to. If you just want to change the time you can click the continue button at the bottom without changing any text. The same goes if you want to change the text but don't want to change the time.

Drag and Drop Content

You can also reschedule your content directly from your Content Calendar by dragging and dropping that piece of content to another date.
Once you drag and drop to a different date, you will have to confirm the new date and time.
You will have the option to edit that content some more if you would like, or you can just select Confirm to make the changes.

Deleting and Swapping Content

If you delete a post, please keep in mind that that piece of content will be permanently deleted for that current content batch.

When you select Delete on a post, you will have the option to replace that post with another piece of content.
You will only have 4 content replacements (aka swaps) for each content batch that gets scheduled.

Here’s how:

  1. Find the post you want to permanently delete and select Delete Post

  2. Click on Replace Content

  3. You will have 3 options to choose from

  4. Click Select This Post & Continue

      5. Confirm the new post, date and time of the post, and you are all set!

If you do not wish to use one of your swaps, or are out of swaps and still want to delete content - you can! Simply select the delete option and confirm. You can delete as many pieces of content as you need to.
