How to Edit and Delete Content from your Content Calendar

Managing your social media schedule should be stress-free! Whether you need to fix a typo, change a posting date, or swap out an article, Back At You makes it easy to keep your feed exactly how you want it. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธโœจ

๐Ÿ“ Editing, Deleting, and Swapping Content

Need to make a change to a post before it goes live? You can manage your upcoming content directly from your Dashboard or Content Calendar.

๐Ÿ” How to Find Your Post

There are two quick ways to access your upcoming posts:

  • From the Home Dashboard: Look under Upcoming Content and select the post you want to change. Click Preview to see your options.

  • From the Content Calendar: Simply click on any scheduled post. A preview window will pop up with Edit and Delete options in the bottom right corner. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

โœ๏ธ Editing Your Content

Once you click the Edit button, a sidebar will appear allowing you to:

  • Modify Text: Update your captions, hashtags, or emojis. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

  • Change Images: Swap out the visual if a different one fits better.

  • Adjust Timing: You can change the specific date or time the post is set to go out. โฐ

Tip: You only need to change what you want! If you only need to change the time, just click through the text sections without making changes. Select Letโ€™s Schedule to save your updates.

๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ Drag-and-Drop Rescheduling

Want to move a post to next Tuesday? Itโ€™s as easy as clicking and dragging!

  1. On your Content Calendar, click and hold the post.

  2. Drag it to the new date and let go.

  3. A window will pop up asking you to confirm the new date and time. Click Confirm, and you're done! ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿ”„ Deleting and Swapping Content

If you decide a post isn't right for your brand right now, you have two choices:

1. Permanent Deletion

You can delete as many posts as you like. Just select Delete and confirm. Keep in mind that once a post is deleted, it is removed from that current content batch.

2. The "Swap" Feature (Replacement)

If you want to remove a post but still want something to go out that day, you can Swap it!

  • The Rule: You get 4 content replacements (swaps) for each 30-day content batch. ๐Ÿ”„

  • How to do it:

    1. Select Delete Post on the content you want to remove.

    2. Click Replace Content.

    3. Choose from 3 recommended articles/posts.

    4. Click Select This Post & Continue, confirm the time, and youโ€™re all set!
