How Do I Turn My Personal Instagram Into A Business Account?
On Instagram, you can convert your personal profile to a professional account to access features that can help you grow your business.
To switch your profile to a professional account:
- Go to your profile and tap
in the upper right corner
- Tap
Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Switch to Professional Account
- Tap Business
- Connect your Facebook Business Page to your Instagram Account (Important: In order to connect an Instagram Business account to your SocialBAY, the Instagram account must be associated with the Facebook Business Page connected to your SocialBAY.)
- Add details, like your business category and contact information.
- Tap Done.
Make sure that you do this from the Instagram app. The Instagram website doesn't have these options.
