The Ins and Outs of Listing Auto-Posting/Auto-Advertising

We're proud to be able to automatically post and promote your new listings!




Before we get started it's important to know that this auto-posting/auto-advertising is only available if your listing feed is connected to your SocialBAY. To connect, CLICK HERE to go to your Listings tab and enter an active MLS ID number. 

Ok, now for the fun stuff:

To Turn On Auto-Posting:

  1. Click Settings in the top right of your SocialBAY and select Listing Automation and then Your Listings from its drop-down menu.
  2. Under "Auto-Post My Listings," simply click the On button.
  3. To edit whether you want New Listings and/or Just Reduced Listings Auto Posted, select the Edit pencil. Then press Save.

Here's what you need to know about Auto-Posting:

  • We'll Auto-Post each of your new listings once and give you a heads up via email at least 3 hours before so you can make any changes you see fit.
  • Once you turn this feature on, we'll Auto-Post your future New Listings and/or Just Reduced Listings, so anything in your Listings Tab today won't be Auto-Posted.
  • If you receive multiple new listings in the same day, we will post them according to the following schedule: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm.
To Customize Your Auto Posting Captions:
  1. Click on Settings in the top right of your SocialBAY and select Listings.
  2. Select the Customize button to bring up a window where you can customize your New Listing Verbiage, your Just Reduced Verbiage and your Company Listing Verbiage.
  3. Utilize the Dynamic Variable fields when you customize your captions to help personalize your auto-posts.



To Customize Your Auto Posting Listing Designs:
  1. Click on Settings in the top right of your SocialBAY and select Listings.
  2. Scroll down to the Listing Post Designs Section
  3. Where is says Listing Overlay Template, Click Change
  4. Select the template that you would like for all of your auto posted listings 
  5. Click Save


Once you have Auto-Posting set up, you will have the option to also Auto-Advertise those posts.

Here's what you need to know about Auto-Advertising:

  • When we auto-post your listings, we can also automatically advertise them!
  • You control how much is spent, specify your target demographic, and we'll do the rest!

To Turn On Auto-Advertising:

      1. Set Your Target Audience. You can choose By Radius around the listing address OR  By                   City/Cities of your choice 
      2. Next, Select your Campaign Type & Budget.  You will have the option to choose       between social media ads, webs, or do a bundle that includes both types of ads. 
      3. Set your campaign Budget. Select how much you would like to spend for your ads and how       long you want your ad to run. You can also only run ads for your New Listings or for your       Reduced Price Listings. 
      4. Last step! Here, you'll just want to review the settings and confirm them.


Before Auto-Posting/Auto-Advertising we'll send you an email to notify you that we've scheduled your listing. If you want that listing posted/promoted, you don't need to take any action! If you need to edit or delete it, you'll have that option to do so before the scheduled time of your post/ad.
