Running Ads in SocialBAY Overview

Running Ads in SocialBAY Overview

You have the ability to run ads on your social media content, listings, and landing pages within the SocialBAY Platform.

When content, listings and landing pages are posted out to your social media networks, those posts go out on your pages and newsfeed. The only people who are able to see those posts are the people who like, follow and visit your page.
If you want to expand the reach of your post, you can do so by running that post as an ad. Ads help your post by getting it in front of people who are not your followers which in turn help you build your brand and your brand awareness.

Turning a Piece of Content Into an Ad

You can turn any piece of content that you, your company, or Back At You created into an ad.

  1. Find the piece of content that you want to run as an ad on your content calendar and click on it.
  2. Select the advertise button in the upper right hand corner on the preview of that piece of content.
  3. Set your targeting. You can either use the default targeting displayed on your screen or select the customize targeting link to change you who want to target this ad towards.
  4. If you choose to customize your targeting, Per Facebook Ad Targeting Policies, you can only target by city with a minimum of a 15 mile radius. Input the area, or areas, you would like to target. Press Continue at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Set your ad budget and duration. You can either select from our Small, Medium or Large recommendations, or simply type in your own budget and duration. Remember, the minimum you can spend on a day of advertising is $5 USD. Increasing your ad budget does increase the amount of people your ad has the potential to get in front of.
  6. Hit Submit. This will then run your ad on Social Media (Facebook and Instagram) and also run as a post on the day that it is scheduled to go out.  If you have a credit card on file with us, it will automatically charge it. If you do not have a credit card on file, you will be prompted to put in your billing information.
