Your Content Header and Content Signature

Your Content Header and Content Signature

Customizing Your Content Headers & Signatures

Make your social media presence both professional and compliant. Use Content Headers and Content Signatures to automatically add "bookend" text to every post scheduled through your Social Media Center.

1. Headers vs. Signatures: What’s the difference?

Think of these as automated templates that "sandwich" your post captions to ensure you never miss a detail.

The Content Header (The Top)

The Header places specific text at the very beginning of every caption.

  • Best for: Mandatory disclosure statements or brokerage names.

  • Why use it: Use this for information that must be seen immediately to meet legal requirements.

The Content Signature (The Bottom)

The Signature tacks a block of text onto the end of every caption.

  • Best for: License numbers, phone numbers, personal taglines, or website links.

  • Why use it: Just like an email signature, this keeps your contact info and branding consistent on every post.

2. Why Use These Features?

  • Stay Compliant: Perfect for agents in states with strict marketing laws (where license numbers are required on every post).

  • Build Your Brand: Ensure your slogan or website is always present without having to type it manually.

  • Save Time: Set it once and it applies to all future content automatically.

3. How to Setup or Edit

Follow these simple steps to customize your text:

  1. Open Settings: Click My Settings in the bottom left-hand corner of your Social Media Center.

  2. Select Content Tab: Choose the Content tab from the top navigation menu.

  3. Find Your Section: Scroll down to either Content Header or Content Signature.

  4. Edit: Click Change to create your message or update your existing text.

  5. Save: Don’t forget to click Save to apply your changes!

💡 Quick Tip: Keep your Header short and sweet so your audience gets to the "hook" of your post quickly!
